Feet Of Silence - Chrome Finish

This version comes with all parts in high gloss finish. All the details of the design have a critical function, which contribute to Feet of Silence's total performance

 

Feet Of Silence - Suspension

The Suspension consists of purpose moulded age resistant O-rings. The suspension action and freedom of movement in both the vertical and horizontal planes provide an extremely effective isolation of the vibration absorber from externally generated vibrations.

Feet Of Silence - Steelball

The Ball on top of the vibration absorber is fixed by viscous-elastic glue to the absorbent and functions as a conveyor of the internal vibrations to the absorbent. The ball form has been picked because its uniformity has only one single resonant frequency and therefore will not emit other unwanted resonances.

Feet Of Silence - Feet On Rack

Naturally, our Feet of Silence can be used as an option on both the fixed and the suspended shelves. This will further improve performance.

Disc Of Silence - Black Finish

By using an effective isolation medium and a small and stable physical body that upholds the apparatus, even the negative influence by the airborne vibrations (music) and internal vibrations of the apparatus are reduced. .

 

 

Disc Of Silence - Alu Finish

The criteria is to use an isolation medium that is as effective as possible, as close as possible to the apparatus, in order to avoid propagation of frame borne vibrations and resonances into the apparatus.

 

 

Disc Of Silence - Disc On Rack

Set of three discs can handle a load of 5kg to 35 kg or up to 70 kg with all tension springs mounted. Set of 4 disks are also delivered thus allowing a load up to 90 kg.

 

 

Disc Of Silence -Alu On Rack

One can improve the performance in two further steps if so desired, namely by using spring suspended shelf's and/or some of our isolation feet between the shelf and the apparatus.

 

 

Disc Of Silence - Adjustability

The adjusting screw permits leveling of apparatus with uneven weight distribution. The cork covered adjustment screw permits a secure and scratchproof contact surface with the apparatus, and further reduces resonances and vibrations.

 

 

Disc Of Silence - Disc holder

The centre hub is suspended and isolated from the outer aluminum cylinder trough three or six tensions springs depending on the desired weight that is placed on the Disc. The resonance frequency of the tension springs is about 5 Hz at normal load, which means that the effective isolation starts at about 8 Hz.
