Base of Silence White base

Base of silence consists of a sandwich board with four integrated isolators. The sandwich board has the same size as a standard Hybrid shelf, 435mm x 495mm x 60-70mm. The isolator shelf consists of a 30mm MDF, 3 mm cork and on top a 19mm veneered HD MDF or 22mm concrete.

Base of Silence is available in seven variants, lacquers/veneers(black, white, walnut, cherry, oak, black oak) and concrete.

The base will be prepared for a load of maximum 90kg. 24 extra springs are available to increase  the max load to 180kg.  The lightest load to give a hearable effect is 8kg.

Bubble level is optional and can be located either on the short side or long side.

 Below graph shows a comparison of isolation using the Base of Silence versus not using isolation, the example is performed at 50 Hz and the efficiency is 85-90%.
