RACK OF SILENCE

Vibration and resonance generate the most common reasons for sonic degradation within audio systems, which prevent even the most musical of HIFI systems from reproducing accurately the emotional and expressive qualities of recorded music. Sonic coloration and soundstage limitations are obvious drawbacks generated by insufficient rack designs.

In order to minimize vibration within the audio system whilst still maintaining accurate transient response, tonal balance and soundstage imaging, we have introduced a new approach into the rack design. By excluding as much resonance prone material (shelf board) as possible, the energy storage is minimized within the rack. The design in conjunction with selected materials enable any audio system to perform to its fill potential.

To achieve even greater isolation with improved performance as a result, the ability to simply apply free-floating suspension to the shelves can be added as an option (Reference). The suspended shelves are totally isolated both vertically and horizontally.

Rack of Silence is stackable. By exchanging the top lid to one with brass insert, another rack can be positioned on top.

The extruded aluminum pillars are not only designed as timeless Roman pillars but in fact through their design effectively eliminate resonance propagation, introduce improved vertical propagation and introduce improved vertical and mechanical grounding properties. 

Three pillar heights are available, 300, 600 and 900mm (11.8, 23.6 and 34.4in). 

Rack width 700mm (27.6in) and depth 500mm (19,.7in). allowing for the audio equipment with a width of 535mm (20in) to be placed on each equipment slot.

Any audio configuration can be positioned in Rack of Silence. The Basic shelves can support a load of 40kg (88 lbs) and Heavy-Duty shelves can support a load of up to 80kg (176 lbs). 

Rack of Silence is a modular shelf assembly design enabling easy re-positioning of shelves along the full corner pillar length.

Rack of Silence is post-modern design including truly new concept features, generating the ability for all audio systems positioned therein to reproduce music with intricate and delicate qualities as unrestrained and naturally as ever before.

All metal parts are made of beautiful anodazied aluminum in either silver or black color. 

The wood trims, feet and top are made of beechwood (hardwood) and are available in stained cherry, walnut, mocha, black and white.
